The Dean plays a pivotal role in the leadership and administration of the academic unit within a university. The Dean will work closely with faculty, staff, and students to foster an environment conducive to academic excellence and innovation. All Deans should, at a minimum, hold an Bachelor’s degree and have experience in academia.

- Represent the academic unit in university-wide meetings and initiatives.
- Advocate for resources and support necessary for achieving departmental goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in education administration within a higher education setting.
- Strong background in curriculum development with an emphasis on innovative teaching practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of successful management of teams.
- Experience in strategic planning with an ability to implement long-term goals effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management in an academic context.
- A terminal degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with significant higher education teaching experience.
